"PICA" SEBASTIÁN RAMÍREZ

Sebastian Ramírez 'Pica', born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1990, is an architect and artist with a passion for self-built homes. He studied architecture at Javeriana University, gaining skills in freehand drawing. He worked for architecture magazine PROA, then collaborated with renowned architects like Rogelio Salmona and Erik Witzler. In Barcelona, he specialized in hospital architecture and met Mario Corea, a painter who influenced his approach to space and color. Returning to Bogotá, he combined architecture with art direction and textile illustration. His work, focusing on monochrome and self-built homes, has been showcased globally, including in exhibitions and art fairs across Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Switzerland, and the United States.
